Goth Content Creators!

Below is a list of my favorite online, goth content creators. This list is full of entertainment and informational resources from others who work hard to promote goth music and the community. I will continue to update this list as I come across new meaningful content. Each section is ordered A-Z.

Blogs and Websites:

  • The Belfry Network – The Belfry network is both a very informative blog and group of podcasts that cover a range of topics and entertainment purposes. Check out Cemetery Confessions: A Goth Talk Podcast for an academic-style analysis of the goth subculture.
  • Caroline Sometimes – Caroline Sometimes is the personal blog of Caroline Carnivorous, a goth from Norway who is active in the community both online and off. Check out her blog for advice, information, and personal content.
  • Gothic-Rock.com – Gothic-Rock is an informational resource for Gothic Rock, Post Punk, Wave, and Alternative music.
  • New Goth City – New Goth City is a resource of information regarding goth events and attractions all around the United States. If you are in the U.S. or planning to visit, select a state to learn more about local scenes.
  • Obscura Undead – Obscura Undead is, as their ‘About’ page states, “a collective of goth creators passionate about new and obscure goth, darkwave, post-punk, and other dark alternative music.” This is a great resource for anyone curious about current happenings in the goth music scene.
  • PGH Goth – PGH Goth is a great resource with information on the Pittsburgh goth scene for any of my fellow Steel City bats out there!
  • Post-Punk.com – Post-Punk is an informational and news resources for Post-Punk, Goth, Industrial/EBM, New Wave, Shoegaze, and other Avant-Garde music.

YouTubers:

  • Accumortis – Accumortis is wealth of information about goth music genres, I highly recommend watching “What is Goth Music? – A Brief Overview of Goth Subgenres
  • Angela Benedict – Angela Benedict is a YouTuber from New York City who specializes in the 1990’s goth scene.
  • Aytakk – Aytakk (AKA Elitist Joe) is a DJ and event host from Australia who is here to save goth from itself.
  • Cemetery Confessions – This is the YouTube channel of The Count, host of the Cemetery Confessions podcast. You can listen to CC episodes as well as see additional video content on his channel.
  • Gothic SoulFlower – Gothic SoulFlower is a longtime goth who creates subculture and lifestyle videos.
  • The House of Wyvern – The House of Wyvern is a goth and metal lifestyle channel of married couple, Feannag and The Queen of Dragons.
  • Kitty Jitters – Kitty Jitters is a goth vlogger who also dabbles in Punk and Psychobilly.
  • Ligeia Resurrected – Ligeia Resurrected is both a goth and an opera singer who touches not only on the goth scene but on Gothic lifestyle topics such as literature and absinthe.
  • Queenie Black – Queenie Black is an artist and “elder” goth who touches on topics ranging from art and home decor to mental health and aging in the scene.
  • Skullgirldle RIP – Skullgirdle is an 80’s goth from Texas who is dedicated to promoting goth music and the community.
  • Sweeney Deville – Sweeney Deville is an English musician and goth who uses his channel to post music as well as discussion videos on the goth subculture.
  • Two Broke Goths – Two Broke Goths is the lifestyle channel of Mystic and Poe, two goths who are actively involved in the St. Louis scene.
