About the Author
“Cadaver” Kelly is a YouTuber, underground music journalist, alternative subculture enthusiast, goth music reviewer, and DJ.
Kelly has been exploring underground music subcultures since the mid-2000’s, has been participating in the Pittsburgh independent music scene since 2008, and has been actively connected to the global goth community since the mid-2010’s.
She has written published articles for Obscura Undead, Play Alone Records, and more. She has been featured in Procession Magazine and Cemetery Confessions. She has also appeared as a guest DJ at various dance clubs in the Pittsburgh area as well as on the Twitch channel of DJ KellyA (the other Pittsburgh-based goth Kelly).
Kelly is most well-known as a YouTuber. She made educational goth talk content as well as album reviews, music release announcements, and live events coverage. Her video content can be found on YouTube. From 2021 – 2023, she co-hosted Gothy Roundtable, the official talk show of r/goth.
Kelly is currently on hiatus but encourages visitors to subscribe to Obscura Undead, Sounds and Shadows, and Cemetery Confessions for goth content and underground music news.
